Modeling career
The birth of her modeling career started with the photographer David Corner from the US Army Air First Motion Picture unit forces photographing Marilyn to promote female workers. Although her photographs weren't used for the company, this started her modeling career. Later, she signed with the modeling agency known as the Blue Book Model agency on August 1945. She was considered to be one of the most ambitious and hard workers model in the agency. By the spring of 1946, her photographs appeared in 33 magazines covers.
Actress
After her first divorce from her first husband, James Dougherty, she signed her first movie contract by June 1946. . Prior to her fame, her birth name was Norma Jeane Mortenson. However, the fame sparked a new era for Marilyn Monroe. New name and blonde hair. Her acting career didn't take off until 1950, as a result of her part in John Huston's crime drama The Asphalt Jungle. During the same year, she appeared in the film All about eve starring as Claudia Caswell. Soon she became Hollywood's most popular actress.
